Destiny 2 Gets Festival Of The Lost Again With New Content

Destiny 2 Festival of the Lost

Game developer Bungie recently announced that the Festival of the Lost returns to Destiny 2. It will be hosted by Amanda Holliday.

Destiny 2 Festival of the Lost schedule and details

The Festival of the Lost will start on Oct. 16 and will end on Nov. 6. Here is a description of the coming event:

The last year has changed everything. The Red Legion razed the Last City. Countless Guardians were lost. Despite victories on Mercury and Mars, morale in the Tower is low after the fall of a legend: Cayde-6. This year, death has not passed us by. It has come to stay.

In this event, the Tower will be full of lanterns in the shape of engrams and will have tons of Halloween decorations to celebrate the season. Completing new daily bounties will award players with Fragmented Souls that can be used to purchase Festival of the Lost masks. They can also purchase the new Legendary Auto Rifle called the Horror Story with these tokens.

Characters with max levels will get an Ephemeral Engram every time they fill their XP bar. This will be added in addition to the Steadfast Engram, which is awarded for the same feat. These Ephemeral Engrams can be purchased from Tess Everis in the Tower. Items can also be purchased directly from Tess if they do not want a random pull on Engrams.

Players in the event will be able to gain access to the Haunted Forest. They will have 15 minutes to make their way deeper into the forest. As they proceed through, the enemies will be tougher and smarter. This forest is also available for solo players, those who want to play with their friends, or just general matchmaking.

The game is currently available on PlayStation 4.
