Death Stranding Has Wrapped Up; Multiplayer Does Not Need PS Plus

Game developer Kojima Productions has recently announced that the development of upcoming video game Death Stranding is now complete.

Death Stranding goes gold

After many teases and unexplained discussions from game creator Hideo Kojima, the development team has finally announced that the anticipated video game has now gone gold. This means that development is complete and the game is ready for mass production.

This was revealed in a recent tweet by the man himself Mr. Kojima on his official social media account. He thanked for the fans’ support and they cannot wait to bring to them this new game.

Multiplayer feature does not need PS Plus membership

Aside from celebrating the game going gold, it was revealed that its multiplayer features will not need a PlayStation Plus subscription. This was mentioned in the Limited Edition PlayStation 4 Pro listing on UK’s GAME website. The packaging reveals a small yellow tag at the bottom that warns potential buyers of the PS Plus program and its requirement for online games. This note does have a specification that the online feature of the game will not need such a service membership.

The game will launch on PlayStation 4. It will be released on Nov. 8.
