Game developer Idea Factor recently revealed new information about the upcoming JRPG Death End re;Quest. It features the story and each character’s Bug Skills.
Death End re;Quest details
The main character in this game is Arata Mizunashi, who is a game developer and friends with Shina Ninomiya. They get stuck in World’s Odyssey, the game they created together. In it, players can use bugs to help Shina and her NPC party members in their quest.
Bug Skills
Shina and the other girls have their own unique Bug Skill that they can use in certain situations. It can be helpful in getting to unreachable places in dungeons.
- Shina: Spider Rodeo – Creates webs to leap onto large-scale platforms
- Lily: Melissa Poison – Removes vines that cover doorways.
- Al: Armo On – Creates a force-field of bugs that protects from poison bogs and pools of lava.
- Clea: Avalanche – Removes bugs that have bunched together to block doorways.
- Lucil: Specto Search – Materializes pathways that have been previously removed.
- Celica: Air Ride – Harnesses the power of buggies to fly across large gaps or chasms.
The game will launch in North America on February 19, 2019 and in Europe on February 22, 2019. The game was already launched in Japan way back in April. It will be available exclusively on PlayStation 4.
