Castlevania Requiem: Two Games Finally Appearing On ESRB Site

Castlevania Requiem SOTN

Two game titles from Castlevania Requiem have finally appeared officially on the ESRB Website. They have been rated and that could mean a lot of things.

Castlevania Requiem might be coming soon

Last week, several gaming publications reported that a new listing from the Korean Ratings Boards revealed a gaming collection from the Castlevania game series. It would contain Castlavania: Symphony of the Night, and Castlevania: Rondo of Blood. It might be coming to the PlayStation 4 at some point. Today, it might have been confirmed by another outlet.

This time it was rated by the ESRB and the collection title was found on their official website. It has confirmed that it will be exclusively launched on the PlayStation 4. It will only include the two titles that were mentioned before.

Here is the description of the collection:

This is collection of two action platformers in which players assume the role of a vampire hunter battling Dracula and other creatures. From a side-scrolling perspective, players traverse Dracula’s castle to kill fantastical enemies (e.g., zombies, demons, minotaurs). Characters use whips, swords, axes, and magic to defeat enemies. Pixelated blood is depicted when players’ character and creatures are killed; some attacks result in decapitation and dismemberment of creatures, including a boss character that loses its body parts and entrails. As players progress, they may encounter female creatures (e.g., harpies, medusa) that have exposed buttocks and are depicted topless, though there are no discernible details (i.e., no nipples).

Game publisher Konami is still silent about this. There has been no official confirmation from them, but these evidences point otherwise. We will be updating you guys with more information later on.
