Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 update details
Treyarch Studios revealed that the new update introduced a new melee weapon called the Bowie Knife and can be acquired on Blackout. It will be available in Equipment Stashes and also as Zombie-related drops. It is a stealthy weapon that can do one-hit kills if done right.
Players can gain access to two new multiplayer maps called the Seaside Sunset, and Firing Range Night. They can also play Hardcore Nuketown, Chaos Hardpoint, and Mercenary Objective Moshpit.
Players who own the PlayStation 4 version of the game will gain access to some updates that other platforms do not have. In Multiplayer, there is a new Safeguard playlist that allows both teams to escort their team’s robot to enemy territory while also defending their own. Blackout players will get the Zombies Origins character missions that unlock Dempsey, Nikolai, Takeo, and Richtofen. The Blighfather event has also returned, but with reduced Blightfather health in Solos and Duos.
The Zombies game mode has some slight stability updates and fixes. There might be more improvements and additions in the next few weeks.
