Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 Will Need A Big Day One Patch

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 scream

Game publisher Activision recently revealed the required platform hard drive space and the required day one patch of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 day one patch details

The initial update of the upcoming multiplayer FPS video game will need a lot of hard drive space. It needs at least 112 GB of space just to complete the installation process. This is not the actual size of the day one patch at all though. The patch itself will have an approximate size of 50 GB, which is still a large file to download.

A lot of the game’s features will not be accessible for the players even though they have the physical copy of the game. These features include Multiplayer, Zombies, and Specialist Headquarters. The battle royale mode Blackout on the other hand can be accessed right away when the patch reaches about 30 percent completion, which is about 16-20 GB.

The game will be available on Oct. 12. It will launch on the PlayStation 4.
