Game developer Treyarch recently released a new update of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 that introduced the Gun Game, COD Points, and more.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 new update details
In Gun Game, players only start with a pistol. With each kill, players will get a new gun until they have gone through the pre-selected list of 20. This mode can be pretty intense depending on how desperate the other players are with getting better guns to eliminate the competition.
This was actually introduced to the franchise way back in 2010. This has become a part of every single entry of the series since then in some shape or form. This time around, it could stay for a few days or maybe weeks depending on the developers.
COD Points changes
Treyarch included a small hotfix with the new update that adds COD Points to the game. This time around, players will not spend them on Supply Drops, but on tiers within its Black Market feature. The tier costs around 300 COD Points each. For those who bought the game digitally or the special edition, they will need at least 1,100 free COD Points.
Aside from the Gun Game and hotfix, the developers added a lot of changes to other stuff. They changed or fixed weapons, attachments, specialists, spawns, Blackout, and Zombies.
The game is now available on PlayStation 4.
