Game publisher Activision recently announced that Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’s Blackout mode is free to play for this month only.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Blackout goes free this month
The battle royale mode Blackout is now free to play for the whole month of April. It started last April 2 and can be played on PlayStation 4. The free access to this mode will then end on April 30.
Aside from the free Blackout mode, players also get a new map. This is the second map called Alcatraz, which was actually based from the infamous prison. It was released on the PS4 first. Compared to the current available map of the battle royale mode, Alcatraz is much smaller in scope. This means matches will be shorter, but more intense than usual.
The full game is already available on PS4.
