Game publisher EA and developer DICE recently announced that online FPS Battlefield V will now have a battle royale mode and it will launch this month.
Battlefield V welcomes battle royale mode
The new battle royale mode for the FPS is called Firestorm and will have similar mechanics to games of the same genre. It will launch this month, March 25.
Just recently, several fans have voiced their concern that the upcoming new game mode might get all of the attention and the base multiplayer component will be left out. DICE assured the fans that the multiplayer feature will always remain a core focus. Battle royale mode will just be an addition to the gaming experience.
The full game is already available on PlayStation 4.
