Indie game publisher Playdius Games recently released a brand new trailer of upcoming cute FPS video game AWAY: Journey to the Unexpected.
AWAY: Journey to the Unexpected trailer details
The new trailer highlights some very interesting features of this unique first-person shooter that mixes three-dimensional navigation with two-dimensional art. Do not expect it to have cute 2D creatures all the time though because there are also other crazy mutilated monsters as enemies.
The game has some kind of a rogue-lite experience as well. The whole experience is different as well since they can explore a bright and animated world with some tense first-person action. They can gain new weapons as they progress in the game like starting with a stick and then upgrading to fire staffs and guns.
There is also a leveling system that allows players to slowly get better abilities and items to use.
The game will launch on PlayStation 4. It will be available next year.
