Game company Koei Tecmo has recently released some new information about the upcoming video game Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle.

Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle reveals Territory Recovery Mode details

Koei Tecmo revealed that the upcoming video game offers players to create their own corps, and fight to recover the land outside the walls, which is the Territory Recovery Mode. They can customize their corps like its name and even its emblem. They can assign a commander from any of the game’s playable characters, and even a custom-made Scout.

Territory Recovery Mode will have two rounds with the first as a Base phase, which allows players to roam around freely to socialize with allies. They can use this time to use materials to prepare and upgrade equipment, and prepare for battle. The second is the Outer Campaign phase, which lets Scouts venture outside the walls.

New gear info

There will be new gear to check out, and will be provided to the Scouts for their battles against the Titans. The Slashing Gear makes a comeback, which allows them to equip blades with their ODM to quickly slice body parts with the powerful Shooting Gear action, where blades are replaced with guns.

The Shooting Gear allows players to choose between One-Handed Attacks, or Two-Handed Attacks. The prior version allows them to have easy targeting and lower damage attacks. The former allows them to deal big damage while making it harder to evade incoming hits.

The Thunder Spear is also included in this game, which is the revolutionary weapon in the series. It has the greatest power in their arsenal and can completely defeat a Titan in a single blow.

Pre-order bonuses

Players who plan to pre-order the game can get Bonus content. They can get the Queen of Historia costume for Christa, Young Male Coat for Kenny, Plain Clothes Underground City for Levi, and One-piece Dress for Mikasa. They can also get an early unlock of the playable characters for Kenny, and Zeke.

The game will launch this coming July 4 in Japan, and on July 5 in North America and Europe. It will be available on PlayStation 4.
