Game company Ubisoft recently revealed that the upcoming new update for video game Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will include the Discovery Tour mode.
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey new mode detailed
Ubisoft already announced the release date of the upcoming update, which is on Sept. 10. It will include the Discovery Tour mode and it was recently detailed by the company. It also unveiled new content coming to the game this month, which will be a brand-new character pack and an update for Story Creator Mode.
Discovery Tour mode place players on the game’s map and will be able to explore the whole place free from threats and conflict. It will include a total of 30 tours across five different teams. When each of these tours finish, players will take a quiz, which will be something simple and fun to see if they have been paying attention. For those who complete the whole mode, they will gain benefits and rewards aside from the learning experience.
The rewards will include avatars and mounts, which will allow players to take on the role of historical figures and fictional characters from the game.
New content coming in later
The new content is planned for release this coming Sept. 17, which will be developed by the team at Ubisoft Quebec. This will be in the form of the Myrmidon Character Pack. This armor set will be in a full gear set, a legendary spear, and a mount.
Additions for Story Creator Mode
Aside from the two additions above, there will be new content for Story Creator Mode. There is still no release date for this content, but the developers did tease the new addition will include an update for how many characters can appear in one dialogue sequence.
