Anthem Javelin suit

Game developer BioWare recently revealed more information about upcoming open-world video game Anthem. They revealed some details about its gameplay and the Javelins.

Anthem executive producer tells all

Executive producer Mark Darrah and game director Jonathan Warner recently gave some vital information about gameplay and the Javelins in the game. One of the first information that was divulged was that the Storm is likely to be the most vulnerable among the Javelin suits. It has a cape though, and the ability of a short-range teleport.

Darrah said that there will be no requirement to use four different Javelin suits in an instance and there will not be skins for weapons at launch. The cosmetics are completely separate from a player’s gameplay-related power. They can collect different kinds of materials to use for decoration and there will be a lot of variety. There will be some options that are required to be unlocked first.

Flying melee has been implemented into the game. Players cannot just crash into enemies to crash them, however.

The freelancer perk allows players to increase the pickup radius for loot. Another great news is that the loot can be stored, which will save players from cluttering their inventory.

Warner revealed BioWare might develop a possible companion app later on. This will be helpful for players in the game. They also revealed that the game’s demo is coming real soon, but the progress made in the demo will not transfer to the full game. The progress made in the EA Access early access will allow them though.

The game will launch on February 22, 2019. It will be available on PlayStation 4
