Game publisher Microids and developer PlayMagic recently announced that the cult-classic cel-shaded shooter video game XIII will get a brand new remake.
XIII gets remade
This new remake of the game will still be based on the original one, which was developed by Ubisoft ways back. Players will play as Thirteen, a talented soldier who lost his memory and was accused of assassinating the US President. He wakes up on Brighton Beach and has a mysterious tattoo near his clavicle that reads the Roman numeral thirteen.
This will be a mix between a story-driven adventure, and a first-person shooter. PlayMagic will upgrade the visuals, sounds, and animations of this game while remaining faithful to the original look and feel. Some mechanics will be changed as well, but it will still have the original spirit of the first version.
The game remake will launch on Nov. 13. It will be available on PlayStation 4.
