FromSoftware Reveals They Are Working On Two Unannounced Projects

The popular Japanese developer FromSoftware recently revealed that they are currently working on two unannounced projects at the same time.

FromSoftware now working on two projects

With the current interview with a certain Japanese publication, President Hidetaka Miyazaki confirmed that they are in fact working on two unannounced projects. It is obvious that he will not reveal more information outside of the fact that they are working on these new projects. He did say that these projects will be typical games made by them and the public will be hearing more about them soon. Check out the translation of the interview below:

“4Gamer: Please tell us more about other games you’re developing besides Sekiro. In a previous interview, you once said that as of June 2016, you had from 2.5 to 3.5 development pipelines going simultaneously.

Miyazaki: I did talk about it once. We did have 3.5 lines going back then. 0.5 of that turned out to be Déraciné, and 1 of it is Sekiro. So there are still 2 lines left. These 2 are two unannounced games. These aren’t Dark Souls Remastered and Metal World Chaos XD, as we asked other companies to take care of them.

4Gamer: So you’re currently developing two unannounced games?

Miyazaki: Yes. I can’t tell you any details on them at the moment, but both titles are typical From Software games. I think we’ll be able to say more about both games soon.

This does unfortunately confirm that the projects will not be a Bloodborne sequel. Miyazaki also confirmed that the Bloodborne easter eggs in Deracine were just that and not teasing a new game. Two games that he announced way back in 2016: Dark Souls Remastered and Metal Wolf Chaos XD were not included in the 3.5 product lines as they came from outside companies.

Meanwhile, the upcoming and latest title the developers are working on: Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice will launch on PlayStation 4. It will be available on March 22, 2019.
