Fortnite finally gets the new season 7 after being teased earlier this week. It has now made the game have a theme of the holidays and the world is covered in snow.
Fortnite season 7 details
The announcement trailer features the new contents available in Season 7 with a scene that features a few characters watching a program with a theme of Christmas on an old analog TV. A sudden large snowy iceberg approaches the cabin and then somewhat a Santa Claus guy appears with soldiers behind him. There is also a formation of planes approaching with a looming danger accompanying it.
Season 7 also introduces players with new areas for them to battle. Zip lines will be a big advantage in these areas to get from high terrain to the ground quickly and safely. There are also planes that can be found in the new Frosty Flights location and Expedition outposts. There are also new secrets to discover around the world.
The new season will have two more weeks of being live due to the Winter holidays. This will then end on February 28, 2019, but the game will gain more updates to have more challenges and items.
The new Battle Pass will introduce over 100 new items and will cost 950 V-Bucks. Those who have it will get the new Zenith and Lynx progressive outfits instantly. New styles and a level up will be available. Wraps are also something new that allows players to decorate their weapons and vehicles. Battle Pass owners will also get the early access to the Creative mode that was announced just yesterday.
The game is now available on PlayStation 4.
