Game company Rockstar Games recently announced that the multiplayer aspect of upcoming open world video game Red Dead Redemption 2 will be called Red Dead Online.
Red Dead Redemption 2 multiplayer details
The multiplayer side of the upcoming sequel will be called Red Dead Online and it will be set in its massive open world. Rockstar games explained that this will be a great improved to the first multiplayer experience that was present in the original Red Dead Redemption video game in previous consoles. It will offer players with both narrative and competitive elements as well. This will also get updates frequently and will continue to thrive, just like Grand Theft Auto Online.
Won’t be available at launch
Red Dead Online will not be available during the launch date of the upcoming sequel. It will start in November at first as a public beta. Rockstar Games is already expecting some big issues coming in when they launch this multiplayer feature, which is why they will first release it in beta format at first. They will reveal more information about this feature afterwards.
For those who will have the sequel, they will get access to Red Dead Online automatically. There will be no other package or transaction to be had just to access this multiplayer feature. The upcoming sequel will launch on Oct. 26. It will be available on PlayStation 4.
